In steel and iron smelting, used in steel ladle lining, nozzle, stopper, blast furnace bottom and bosh, iron notch steel notch of rotary furnace and electric furnace, unhydrous cooling slide track.

In non-ferrous metal smelting, used in distiller, fractionating tower tray, side wall of electrolyte, smelting metal piping, pump and  smelting metal crucible.

In silicate industry, used as awning and fire insulating material, such as muffle lining and casket alms bowl.
